Your leadership story to this point has likely been filled with ups and downs, hits and misses, successes and failures. You have the opportunity to learn from both the positive and negative experiences. For this activity, write down your greatest two or three hits. These are professional or personal accomplishments that say something about you as a person. Describe the accomplishments. What made them great? And what did you learn?

Do the same for your greatest misses. What was your greatest disappointment? What made it so? What was your role in these experiences? Be as specific as possible, and think about the turning points for each, what your role was, and what you would do the same and differently in the future.
